Home to not one, but two two-headed calves, the Huron County Museum is celebrating Cow Appreciation Day on Tuesday, July 9 and we invite you all join us!
Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about dairy farming from the Dairy Farmers of Ontario and to enjoy cow-themed crafts, games and scavenger hunt. And show off your appreciation for cows by picking up some Museum merch that is 10% off all day! We have t-shirts, socks, stickers, milk chocolate, and SO much more! All proceeds support the Museum.
Kids’ education sessions with the dairy educator will have limited spots. Pre-register to save a seat in the theatre or lounge for one or more of the following sessions aimed at elementary/primary aged children (kindergarten +):
Liquids and Solids (including butter making) – 10:30 am – 11:30 am in museum’s lounge
Ice Cream! (including ice cream making) – 11:30 am – 12:30 pm in museum’s lounge
Early Settler vs Modern Dairy Farming – 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm in museum’s theatre
