Dads/Male Caregivers & Kids Night at the Museum

Calling all dads/male caregivers and kids – we have partnered with Rural Response for Healthy Children to host a night just for you! This program features fun-filled activities, parent discussions, and social time. There will be tours of the Museum and Historic Gaol, artifact and exhibit activities, parent/child social time, healthy snacks, and games. This is a great opportunity to spend time together with your children.

This program is provided free of charge with funding from the Government of Canada.  Please register a week before the program starts. Visit www.rrhc.on.ca to register online.

    • Thursday, Jan. 23 (at the Museum): All Aboard: Let’s learn about trains and steam technology. We will a train car out of craft supplies! Design your car—what will it transport or will it be a party car, dining car, or video game car? We will connect them all at the end to make one giant train. Please register by Jan. 22.
    • Thursday, Feb. 27 (at the Museum): Museum Mysteries: Explore the many mysterious artifacts in the Museum and play a fun guessing game to find out what they do. Make an interesting artifact of your own. Please register by Feb. 26.
    • Thursday, March 27 (at the Museum): Wonderful Wildlife: The Museum has lots of amazing animals. Come are learn which of these animals are native to Huron County, which ones migrate, which ones were brought here by humans. Please register by March 26.
