Spinning Wheel in Action

Drop in between 1 & 4 pm to visit the Stories from Storage: Spinning Through Time temporary exhibit and get up close to see wool spinning in action.  The live demonstration will be led by a member of the Huron Tract Spinners & Weavers Guild. There will also be a chance to get hands-on with drop spindles. Learn more about traditional ways of making clothing and bedding, including some of the beautiful local textiles in the museum’s collection.

Included with regular admission to the Huron County Museum (free for members or Huron County Library card holders).
